New on the Library: Graham’s “Sabermetrics 101″ Series

There are a lot of people out there in the sabermetric community that are a) smarter than me, b) better writers than me, and c) infinitely more awesome than me.  It just so happens that one of these people, Graham MacAree, has decided to write a “Sabermetrics 101″ series.  You may recognize Graham as the creator of tRA or from his work on Lookout Landing; he’s an incredibly knowledgeable sabermetrician and a top-of-the-line writer, which makes anything he does pure gold.

Graham has graciously allowed me to re-post his series here on the Library, which you can now find in the “Sabermetrics Principles” section.  You can read the series in chronological order (starting with “Game State” and moving down) or you can feel free to jump around from article to article.  While I recommend reading the series in order, Graham has listed in each article which concepts you should have a basic understanding of before proceeding.

I hope you enjoy this series.  And please, give Graham some props; this series is an invaluable resource.
